Bettina Bakdal’s garments are made by hand in Copenhagen, Denmark, in limited numbers. Most are one of a kind. Her work draws on vintage scarves, shirts, dresses, and historic embroidered textiles. Most garments incorporate these found materials, vintage and deadstock fabrics sourced from France and Italy, or deadstock cotton from Danish textile company Kvadrat.
